Purple Droplet
Dew droplet surrounded by nature and moss. While studying at University, I became heavily influenced with the artwork of the late graphic artist M.C. Escher. I’ve developed my own style over the years but I still have a fascination with spheres and/or round objects. Unlike M.C. Escher I love to add bold and vibrant colors into most of my artwork.

Pears on a satin tablecloth.
I truly love still life drawings because there is something so renaissance about them. I could not resist drawing these golden pears but with a twist. I decided to add a geometric textured pattern to the skin of the pear and outlined the leaves with gold leafing for a bit of elegance. Even the satin tablecloth was meticulously drawn to capture all the creases and folds.

My artistic journey is a vibrant exploration of the relationship between bold subjects and the subtle intrigue of blurred backgrounds. Working with Procreate on my iPad Pro, I meticulously construct each piece, beginning with the background. This choice is deliberate, for I believe that the background is as vital as the primary subject. It plants the seed of curiosity, allowing your imagination to fill in the gaps. By blurring these foundational layers, I invite depth and dimension to emerge, drawing you into a shared journey of discovery.
Welcome to my landscape drawings. I love to be anywhere and everywhere outdoors and I love to capture those moments through landscape drawings. There is so much beauty in landscapes but I have come to realize there is also so much history. Landscapes are the walls that cannot talk. They are our comfort, they welcome our daydreams and they give us so much peace. They whistle in our ears, chatter above our heads and cradle us in silence. Let’s work hard to preserve their beauty and history.
