Short Bio

Never was there a canvas that could restrain my desire to color outside the lines be it my father’s newspaper where I drew all over the faces of headliners and celebrities or on the walls of our home where I longed-for free-range canvas drawing. Today I draw on my tablet free hand and the only lines are the lines I create. No boundaries just pure, uninhibited fun and a highly active imagination.

Biography

My name is Jacquline Legay and I am an artist and owner of J.Legay fine art/digital art. I
retired to Albany, GA in 2022 however, I have traveled and lived throughout the United States
while I and my amazing husband worked for the government.  At 60 years old, I am a self taught
artist when it comes to “digital art” . I currently share my work on social media as well as
moderate within a private Procreate artist group on FB that has over 5000 members. I
provide two commissions per year and most often they are beloved family pets. I also have
an online store where I sell my digital art to friends/customers who regularly request to
purchase limited first edition prints and cards. In addition I also provide free prints for
community fundraisers such as Bark the Night which is our local animal shelter.

I have two besties name Joy and Crystal who made me a dog mom nearly 7 years and 2 years ago. I also draw friends and family pets for fun or in loving memory. I love to work outside in my garden and enjoy not on photographing everything in it, but I love drawing all of it too.
